DiaryPod allows you to record, notate, and maintain your record of events. It is like a personal blogging tool supporting note taking during meetings. It can also keep track of upcoming events. You can search your notes and you can include tags for each note. All data is stored securely and privately on your personal online data store (Pod). The app is supported by Togaware and implemented by Graham Williams pair coding with Claude Code using Flutter’s SolidUI package for cross platform development.

We make this project available for free so if you appreciate the app then please show some ❤️ and tap on the star at GitHub to support our work. See the AU Solid Community showcase for many more apps using the Solid ecosystem.

The latest version of the app can be run online at diarypod.solidcommunity.au with no installation required though requiring a Bluelink login, or downloaded and installed for your platform from the Solid Community AU repository:

Installation details are available for all platforms.

Contributions are welcome. Visit github to submit an issue or, even better, fork the repository yourself, update the code, and submit a Pull Request. The app is implemented in Flutter using solidui. Thanks.

Introduction

In old school we kept notes from meetings in a paper notebook that we kept to ourselves for our own reference. Today we keep them in electronic files, and often have them collected online. But keeping your notes online risks them being scanned or scammed for AI or for fraud. We need to protect our notes. By storing all of our notes securely and privately in personal online data stores (PODs) on Solid servers on the cloud we can be free to collect our personal information and store it securely while having access to it from any where on any of our devices.
